Careful when opening legit email attachments

It is becoming tougher and tougher to distinguish between what to click and not click today when reading emails.

One of the biggest scams we see today is when someone sends you an email from a legitimate email address and asks you to open an attachment to review the document.

In the case below all seems fine and well until you go to view the doc online.  Watch below for more details.

Here are 3 things to look out for when reading / opening these attachements.

  1. Never give out personal information
  2. Never send money when you didn’t request it.
  3. Look for poor or improper grammar.
